In fact, the land where Ninigi-no-mikoto landed would have been different from that where Hutunushi-no-kami and Takemikatuti-no-kami had managed to persuade Oonamuchi-no-kami to submit to the Takamanohara. If the mythology of Japan is reflected by some historical facts, the difference of place must suggest that time had passed moderately from the transference of the Ashihara-no-nakatu-kuni till the descending of Ninigi-no-mikoto.
