This view is supported by the description in the Chronicle of Japan that Ninigi-no-mikoto looked around for a good nation and asked a man, who introduced himself Koto-katu-kuni-katu-nagasa, whether there was a nation, or not, when he arrived at Kasasa-no-misaki of Nagaya in the Ata. This frank question suggests us that Ninigi-no-mikoto should have hardly known the achievement by his vanguards.
