Finding the bloody arrow, which Amewakahiko had shot the pheasant in Izumo and flied to the Takamanohara, Takamimusuhi-no-mikoto willingly inferred that Amewakahiko should have fight against deities of the Izumo. No sooner he said that than he picked it up and threw it toward the Izmo. The arrow flied down to the Izumo and just hit Amewakahiko who was lying on his back after the ritual of the rice harvest festival. It is said that this story become a lesson that if the arrow that thou have shot is picked by thy rival, thou shalt kill with it.
