Now, though we cannot assume whether the marriage between the Sumera-mikoto and Hime-tatara-isukeyori-hime was that of convenience or not, the editor of the Kojiki described the scene that Sumera-mikoto chose her among seven maidens through the introduction of Ookume-no-mikoto. That was an arranged marriage indeed!
