Judging from the behaviors of the Sumera-mikoto and Oto-Ukeshi, in those days, the mutual relation between them seems to be resemble with that between a feudal lord and a vassal in the medieval age, because Oto-Ukeshi, who came to stand by the force of the Sumera-mikoto, should never thought that his nation was conquered. Rather, he might expect that his territory would be guaranteed by the authority of the descendant of the heavenly deities.
