Then, did the ancestor of the Tennow really descend from the Heaven or some heavenly place in the ancient age? Can we completely deny the plausibility that the Tennow would be one of offspring of deities as a fantastic and unscientific view? Of course, it is true that human-beings have believed of the existence of deities in this world particularly in the polytheism. Shintoists and Japanese people has respected and worshiped the Tennow supposing that the ancestor of the Tennow family descended from the Heaven to the Japanese islands. Thus we incline to regard it as a matter concerning a religious nature rather than real history.
