Mysteriously, however, the Chronicle of Japan as well as the Kojiki never regards the ancient shrine maiden, Himiko, as a Tennow, but it seems to have dealt with her as the Empress of Chuuai-Tennow, Ginguu Kougou, because we can find quotations from Gishi-wajin-denn which tacitly suggested that Ginguu Kougou partly would have been Himiko or that the part of the achievement of Ginguu Kougou was reflected by that of Himiko.
