この所拙者はピラミッド建設にのめり込んでいるところである。さて、ピラミッドの内部は砂であるとしたら、あの巨大な石を高く持ち上げるにどのような技術が用いられたであろうか？拙者はこう考える。まず石積みの外側に砂の斜路を設ける。これに積み石に丈夫な縄を縛りつける。ある程度高くなった石積みの上に油などを塗ったこれまた丈夫な丸太などを置き、その上を綱を通す。石積みの内側にも砂の斜路を作る。その斜路の上に橇に乗せた木の箱にその綱をつなぐ。この木箱に砂を満たしその重さで外にある積み石を引き上げる。木箱はいくつか用意して一番端の木箱が下に着たら上方に新しく木箱を綱に結び付けこれに砂を詰める。下の木箱の砂はピラミッドの中を埋め立てる砂として利用する。こうすれば砂を運搬する労力だけで石を高く持ち上げることができるがどうであろうか！さらに高くなったら、反対側にある斜面を利用して同じことをする。これなら二十年でできそうである。
